RICHARD WALKER, DIRECTOR
M.F.A in Dance from S.M.U. Was on faculty at T.C.U., T.C.C., University of Arkansas In Little Rock, Arts Magnet High School in Dallas. Guest teaching credits included Dance Masters Of America, Dance Olympus, University of Nebraska's summer program for "Talented and Gifted". Has taught at TCC College For Kids program for the past 5 years. Directed his own Company in N.Y.C. for 3 years. Co-Founder of the Dallas Dance Collective.
ASHLEY BAKER, DIRECTOR OF PERFORMING COMPANIES
B.B.A. from T.C.U. While at T.C.U. danced extensively with Li Chou Cheng, Fernando Bujones and Diane West. Was also a member of the T.C.U. dance team, The Showgirls. After graduating she spent six months in Paris where she continued her studies at the Centre de Danse de Marais. Ashley is also an instructor for Starmakers and Performance Inc.
Carmen Collins
B.A. in Kinesiology from U.T.A. Certified Pilates instructor. Studies include the Ailey School in N.Y.C. and Oklahoma City University. Featured dancer on Instructional videos produced by Marching Auxiliaries Inc. Currently drill team director for Pantego Christian Academy.
Jane Stewart
Jane has been a member of Ballet Concerto and Tex' Tip Top Tappers under teh direction of Tex Clyde. She was a scholarship recipient at Ballet Aspen and at University's of North Texas dance program. Jane has been teaching at A Step in Time since 2000 and is the proud mother of 5 children, 4 of whom dance at the studio.
Roberta Walker
B.A. in Music Education from Arkansas Tech. Performed with Fort Worth Civic Ballet, Arkansas Ballet company and Arkansas Dance Theater. Has choreographed for the university of Arkansas in Little Rock and the Fort Worth Dance Exchange. Roberta directed and choreographed teh touring production of the Nutcracker for the Arkansas Dance Theater. She has also provided choreography for Christmas and Easter programs at Fielder Road Baptist Church and the Celebration marking the opening of the New Sanctuary at the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.
