"Class Act" Award

We went to OnStage dance competition the weekend of Feb. 7th and 8th. It was very competitive. I was very proud of our dancers and their awards. We did very well. It was the first time competing for a number of our dances. We also received several "overall" awards. But what I value most is the "Class Act" award our studio received. It is given to the studio who best presents their dancers in an age appropriate manner. I value and appreciate this recognition. Some parents sent emails sharing their feelings about this recognition. I'd like to share their emails with you.

Mr. Richard,

Personally, I feel that the Class Act awards were the most important!!! I was very proud!!!!! Thank you for presenting our girls the way you do. I truly appreicate you represnting them as ladies.

Apart from being proud of all the girls and the awards they achieved at OnStage, I wanted to let you how much the "Class Act" awards mean to the parents too. Having the girls perform in an age appropriate manner is something that I personally am so grateful for, and from speaking with other company parents, I know that I am not the only one. It certainly is one of the reasons we attend ASIT.

Having these values recognized by the judges is a tribute to you and all the teachers at ASIT, as well as the girls who performed at the weekend. Thank you all so much.

I was also very proud of our class act award. To me, that speaks
VOLUMES more than any other award. It's what I strive to teach my
children daily in a battle against them wanting to grow up way too
quickly and I'm very happy to see it come out in their extra curricular
activities as well.
Great job to you as a mentor and teacher!
