Holidays and Important Dates.
August 15th Classes start
September 5th Studio Closed
October 31st Morning classes only, evening classes will not meet... Haloween
November 19-27th Studio Closed (Saturday classes will meet 11/19th, but not the 26th)
December 19th - January 1st Studio Closed (Sat. classes will meet 12/17)
March 12th - 18th Studio Closed (Sat. classes will meet 3/10, but not the 17th)
May 30th Last day of Fall / Spring session
RECITAL is tenatively scheduled for the first weekend in June. Exact dates to be announced. There is the possibility recital will be the 2nd weekend in June, depending on availability of the venue. As soon as I have a contract signed, I will announce the date.

DRESS CODE
Students are expected to adhere to these guidlines. This is a part of the disipline, tradition and respect associated with dance training.
Repeated non-compliance will result in the student not dancing that day.
We ask for your support and understanding in this policy. It is not an arbitrary policy but one meant to create a better learning environment for all our students.
Ballet - black leotard, pink tights, dance shorts or ballet skirt, pink ballet shoes, hair in a low bun, pink ballet shoes with elastic (split sole preferred)
Leap & Turn and Hip Hop – shoes and attire are at teachers discretion
Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Attire – leotard, tan or pink tights, dance shorts, hair back and off the face.
Tap shoes -black oxford
Jazz shoes -SoDanca Brand, caramel color, split sole slip on
Lyrical shoes- Level 1 & 2 wear SoDanca Brand, caramel color, Level 3 and Level 4, ask the teacher
Clogging-teacher will supply infmormation regarding shoes
Pre-School 1 and 2, Kindergarten, School Age 1,2, and 3, School Age Beginner
Leotard, pink tights, dance shorts or skirt, hair back and off face, bun preferred
Shoes – Pink ballet shoes, Black patent leather tap shoes for Pre-School 1 through School Age 1 / leather buckle tap shoes for School Age 2 and 3. For those combo classes with Jazz, SoDanca brand split sole slip on in Carmel, NOT tan or black.
For all above classes – no baggy t-shirts or warm ups, no necklaces, bracelets or large earrings, (posts are OK),

Due Dates for Fall session
Costume fees are due no later than November 15th. Those ordering more than 3 costumes may pay in 3 equal installments.
1st payment due Nov 15th / 2nd payment due Dec 15th
3rd payment due Jan. 15th
Recital Fee is due no later than April 15th.
FEES
ENROLLMENT
A non-refundable registration fee of $30 for new students or $35 for new family.
$20 for returning students and $25 for returning families and the first month’s tuition are required for enrollment. for that class.
TUITION AND PAYMENTS:
Tuition, Costume Fees and Recital are all handled through auto-debit. Every account must be secured with a credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Between the 1st and 5th of the month, your tuition will be debited from your credit card. Between November 10th and 15th your costume fee will be debited from your credit card. (see auto-debit agreement re. costume installments for those with more than 3 costumes) Please note, there are no refunds on costumes after December 1st, even if you withdrqw from a class. Between April 10th and 15th your recital fee will be debited form your credit card. Complete details are available on the Auto-Debit Agreement available at the front desk and required for all accounts.
WITHDRAWALS:
A Student is continually enrolled in a class from month to month unless we receive 15 days prior written notice of their dropping the class. If a student wishes to drop any or all of their classes, written notice must be received 15 days prior or the following month’s tuition will be charged. Notice to drop a class or withdraw completely from the studio may be submitted via e-mail to richard [at] astepintime [dot] net.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
A Student may make up any missed class with a class of similar level with the approval of the instructor. There are no refunds for missed classes.
STUDENT SAFETY
Please instruct your child to remain in the studio lobby while waiting to be picked up. Please do not ask them to wait for you outside the studio. The lobby gets quite crowded when classes let out, so please pick your child up promptly. We are not responsible for students after they have left the premises.
COSTUMES
We will not order your costume until we receive payment. If you are ordering more than 3 costumes you may pay in installments. (See “important dates” at the top of the page.) Any costume not paid for by the due date or for which installments have not been paid will not be ordered as we cannot guarantee arrival before recital. Any costume not paid for by December 1st will not be ordered as our vendors cannot guarantee delivery by our recital date. (except costumes paid for in installments)
LOST AND FOUND
Please put your child’s name or initials on all their dance wear, especially shoes. Recent lost and found items will be stored in the middle storage bench in the lobby for a limited time. Please check regularly as left items will be donated monthly. We will not be held accountable for lost or stolen items.
An additional copy of the “Studio Policies” and “Dress Code” is available at the front desk for your records.
