Everyone who works at A Step In Time believes in the value of intelligent dance training and the life skills that can be gained through the dance experience. We care not only for the dancer, but for the child who dances.
Family Friendly
We are very sensitive to age appropriate music, costumes and dance. What we put onstage is very family friendly. Some may think that old fashioned, but that’s what we think is best for the children with whom we are entrusted.
Age Specific Classes for Younger Students
For our younger students, ages 3-6, we offer specific classes for each age. The learning curve, attention span and developmental differences between a 3 and 5 year old, even a 3 and 4 year old, need to be recognized and accomodated. We offer classes for 3 year olds, classes for 4 year olds and classes for 5 year olds. We don't combine these ages.
Tuition is payable on a monthly basis.
There is no extended financial commitment. There are no financial surprises.
We let you know at registration what your costume and recital charges will be.
There are no recital tickets to purchase or programs to buy.
Our tuition is very competitive and our costume and recital fees are very reasonable.
Performance opportunities
We present an annual recital. We provide opportunities for our younger students (pre-school 1 to level 3 classes) to perform in community events such as church and school carnivals and civic events. For those students who cannot perform at one of these community events we present a Holiday Performance (free of charge) where the students have the opportunity to perform in public.
Referrals
Most of our new families come to us as referrals from friends who are already a part of our studio family. When you recommend a business to a friend, any business,
that is a statement of confidence and trust. The majority of our new dance students come to us because someone has recommended A STEP IN TIME.
